Associate Veterinarian – Hebron, Kentucky
About the Role
An established small animal practice in Hebron, Kentucky is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its supportive and collaborative clinical team.

About the Practice
The practice provides comprehensive small animal veterinary care in Hebron, Kentucky , with occasional opportunities to treat other companion species.
Veterinarians have access to modern diagnostic and treatment resources supporting preventative medicine, internal medicine, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, diagnostic imaging, ultrasound, in-house laboratory testing, and therapeutic treatments .

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality medical and preventative care to companion animal patients
Conduct routine examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Perform routine soft-tissue surgical procedures
Provide comprehensive veterinary dental care
Conduct and interpret appropriate diagnostic investigations
Utilise diagnostic imaging and laboratory resources where clinically indicated
Communicate diagnoses and treatment recommendations clearly with pet owners
Educate clients on preventative healthcare and long-term patient wellbeing
Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and fellow clinicians
Participate in continuing education and professional development
Contribute to a positive and supportive clinical environment
Candidate Profile
Applicants should hold a DVM or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited institution and hold, or be eligible to obtain, an active Kentucky veterinary licence .
Experienced veterinarians with skills across general medicine, surgery, and dentistry are encouraged to apply.
The practice also welcomes new graduate veterinarians seeking genuine mentorship , with opportunities to develop clinical confidence while working alongside experienced veterinary professionals.
Additional professional credentials relevant to clinical practice are advantageous but may be obtained following appointment where appropriate.
