Job description
Sheldon Veterinary Medical Center is looking for a full-time companion animal-focused Associate Veterinarian to join our growing, well-established practice — new graduates are welcome! Beyond our own team, you’ll have mentorship and case collaboration access across two additional Animal Medical Centers locations, giving you more support than a typical small-town practice offers.

Sheldon Veterinary Medical Center is a well-established companion animal practice in Northwest Iowa, currently staffed by a 2.5-doctor team that values quality medicine, teamwork, and strong community relationships.

About This Role
Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care for small animal patients
Develop accurate treatment plans using in-house diagnostics and digital radiography
Collaborate closely with a well-trained, experienced support staff
Maintain strong communication and build lasting relationships with a loyal client base
DVM or VMD degree required; active Iowa veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain one prior to start date
