PetSmart Veterinary Services is a full-service veterinary hospital offering medical and surgical services to companion animals. The hospital is a fast-paced environment with well trained staff. We pride ourselves on offering comprehensive and high-quality care to our patients.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our fun and collaborative team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine and common surgical procedures. This role requires excellent communication skills, ability to work collaboratively. Ideally this position is for a full-time Veterinarian, but a part-time position would be considered. Newly graduated Veterinarians looking for mentorship are also encouraged to apply.
Duties
Medical appointments and common surgical procedures.
Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients.
Provide excellent communication skills to staff and owners.
Stay current on professional licenses.
Working collaboratively with staff.
Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid veterinary license to practice in the state of Wisconsin.
Current DEA License or obtained upon hire.
USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire.
Strong knowledge of medical and common surgical techniques.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and team members.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
