Job description

Practice:

Warr Acres Animal Clinic is a trusted veterinary practice in Oklahoma City, OK. We offer many services to keep animal companions healthy and happy. Our commitment to excellence in veterinary medicine is matched only by our genuine love for animals.

Position Purpose:

Bring Your Interests. Find Your Support. Build Your Future.

At Warr Acres Animal Clinic, you’ll find a well-established practice with a loyal client base, a collaborative team, and room to build a career around the medicine you enjoy.

Our caseload includes wellness and preventive care, urgent visits, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and complex medical cases. We also see exotics and farm animals, creating opportunities for doctors who enjoy variety or want to explore additional clinical interests. If your passion is caring for dogs and cats, you can focus exclusively on small-animal medicine—seeing exotics or farm animals is not required. One of our current doctors practices exclusively with dogs and cats and has built a successful caseload.

Whether you’re a new graduate building confidence or an experienced veterinarian looking for your next opportunity, you’ll have colleagues to share ideas, discuss challenging cases, and support your growth. Our approach is simple:hands-on mentorship when you need it, independence when you’re ready for it.

We also understand that a fulfilling career needs room for life outside the practice. Our practice manager works closely with our doctors to offer scheduling flexibility and accommodate the time away they need. Whether you enjoy traveling, finding your next adventure, or spending time with family, we want to help you make space for what matters to you.

Inside the practice, 30-minute appointments, dedicated surgery days, and approximately two technicians or assistants per doctor, plus treatment-area floaters, provide support for your day. We value teamwork, thoughtful client communication, and helping families find realistic care options for their pets.

New graduates and experienced veterinarians are welcome. There’s room here to put down roots, build lasting client relationships, develop your clinical interests, and grow in both confidence and career satisfaction. We’d love to hear what you’re looking for and explore how Warr Acres could fit your goals.
