Job description
Department Of Pathology At Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center
The Department of Pathology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) has provided anatomic pathology services to the South Plains for 40 years. Our experienced TTUHSC Faculty are experts in their fields and respected nationally for their diagnostic and academic expertise. In addition to providing consultation and pathology services, pathologists are actively involved in education, research and professional organizations, which keep them abreast of the latest advancements within their areas of expertise. The research activities of the department are broadly based and include research on the basic mechanisms of cellular injury as well as translational studies of breast and prostate cancer.
The Department of Pathology's vision is to enrich the lives of others by educating students to become collaborative health care professionals, providing excellent patient care, and advancing knowledge through innovative research. We encourage Fellows who are completing their training and will be eligible for certification to apply.
