Unload trucks, break down pallets, sort items by aisle, and check in vendor deliveries piece by piece

Supervise drop shipments, direct store deliveries, and oversee produce and frozen food truck unloading

Write the overnight stock schedule and monitor time-off requests, vacation requests, overtime hours, and sick call-ins

Train new employees on stocking, facing, order tags, UPCs, register operation, customer service, and department services

Assist with customer service including checkout, sacking, carry-outs, cash accountability, and day-end reports

Set and reset new items, tags, and prices as needed, including in-store specials for prior ad items

Understand and troubleshoot store equipment including electrical systems, registers, coolers, compressors, and display cases

Maintain compliance with Hy-Vee’s dress code, hygiene standards, and all company policies
