Insurance Defense Attorney | Manhattan, NY (Hybrid) – $230K
Location/Schedule: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid)
Base Salary: $230K
Practice: New York general liability, premises, Labor Law, and construction defense for carriers and corporate insureds. The work includes construction accident files, additional-insured and indemnity issues, and trial preparation. Trial work is part of the seat for lawyers at this level.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Defend New York general liability, premises, Labor Law, and construction claims.
Take and defend depositions.
Draft motions and prepare cases for mediation and trial.
Handle additional-insured and indemnity issues that sit on the construction files.
Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates):
JD and active New York bar.
4–8 years post-bar insurance defense — current Associate, Counsel, or Partner.
Law clerks and summer associates will not be considered.
Depositions taken in the last 24 months.
