Litigation Associate Attorney | Established St. Louis Law Firm | Hybrid Location: St. Louis, MO
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
I’m recruiting an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join a well-established St. Louis law firm with a strong reputation for providing sophisticated legal representation in insurance defense and commercial litigation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and handle litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests, briefs, and other legal documents.
Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
Handle discovery, depositions, motion practice, and case management.
Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and other litigation-related matters.
Work closely with senior attorneys and clients to develop effective case strategies.
Monitor case deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedural requirements.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Missouri.
4–7 years of litigation experience.
Experience handling business, commercial, or complex civil litigation matters preferred.
Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
Experience managing cases, drafting motions, and handling discovery.
Excellent communication, organizational, and client-management skills.
A demonstrated interest in building a long-term career with an established law firm.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 – $170,000 (Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.)
