Auction Office & Operations Specialist
Seeking an organized, tech-savvy team player to help keep our auctions running smoothly. This role works alongside our auctioneers and content specialists, while also interacting with customers and handling the technology, scheduling, communication, and day-to-day details that keep things moving. Ideal for someone who learns technology quickly, enjoys variety, and can keep track of multiple priorities in a busy environment.
Tasks:
Keep auction details organized and moving forward from setup through pickup
Enter and manage information in auction and office software
Learn and navigate auction technology and help troubleshoot day-to-day issues
Communicate with customers by phone, email, text, and in person
Schedule and coordinate appointments for customers and auction activities
Track shipments and help keep purchases moving to purchasers
Process payments and assist with customer accounts
Help coordinate auction pickup process
Support the auction setup team with software, organization, and day-to-day problem-solving
Jump in wherever needed to help the team meet deadlines and get the auction across the finish line
Requirements:
Friendly, helpful, and comfortable working with people
Organized and able to keep track of multiple moving pieces
Comfortable with computers and technology - we'll teach you our software
Quick to learn new technology and willing to figure things out
Clear and professional communicator, both in person and in writing
Dependable - you do what you say you'll do
Flexible and willing to pitch in when priorities change
Able to work independently but enjoys being part of a team
Comfortable in a busy environment where every day can look a little different
Able to prioritize and meet deadlines
Curious and willing to learn new skills
Problem-solver who doesn't give up when something doesn't work the first time
Able to lift 40 lbs and walk 12,000+ steps in a day
*No auction experience necessary. We'll teach you the auction business. What matters most is that you're willing to learn, comfortable with technology, and ready to pitch in.
