Job description
The full-time Audiologist provides high-level audiologic care within a team-based, fast-paced ENT clinic, assessing and treating patients across all ages for hearing, balance, and communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate hearing loss using diagnostic equipment.
Perform vestibular assessments, interpret results, and advise patients on balance issues.
Manage treatments involving hearing aids, assistive devices, cochlear implants, and bone-anchored systems, including programming and counseling.
Conduct audiological tests such as pediatric and standard audiometry, VNG, EcochG, and ABR/ASSR.
Maintain accurate documentation, ensure compliance with regulations, and participate in ongoing education and professional development.
Fit patients with custom and non-custom hearing protection and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Doctoral Degree in Audiology (Au.D. or Ph.D.).
State licensure as an Audiologist (Texas required).
Preferred: ASHA CCC certification and experience with Epic EMR.
