Job description
Step into a rewarding role working with K-12 students as a part-time Audiologist in the Carlsbad area. This contract opportunity offers the chance to support students in their educational journey by ensuring they have access to the hearing support they need to thrive in the classroom. You'll collaborate with school staff, families, and other specialists, playing an integral role in improving student outcomes.
Qualifications:
Current, valid Audiologist License
Experience or interest in working with K-12 populations
Strong communication and collaborative skills
Ability to conduct evaluations, interpret results, and provide appropriate recommendations
Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and educational environments
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive hearing assessments and diagnostic services for students
Interpret audiological results and determine educational impact
Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students with hearing loss
Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
Make recommendations for classroom accommodations, FM systems, and auditory equipment
Participate in IEP/504 meetings and contribute to planning for student success
Deliver both direct and consultative services as needed
