Job description
Elevate student support by bringing your expertise as an Audiologist to the educational setting! As a valued contract professional, you'll collaborate closely with school teams in the Whites City, NM area, providing essential audiological services and maximizing student potential in an inviting and supportive environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution
Current, valid state licensure as an Audiologist
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication skills for interaction with students, staff, and families
Ability to design and monitor individualized audiological interventions
Genuine dedication to student-centered care and teamwork
Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and screenings for students
Develop and implement individualized plans and accommodations based on assessment results
Collaborate with educators, school staff, and parents to support each student's educational goals
Fit, program, and maintain hearing aids and assistive devices as needed
Contribute to IEP/504 processes, providing professional input and ongoing follow-through
Maintain thorough documentation and clear communication with the multidisciplinary team
