Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, including pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and acoustic immittance testing
Interpret test results and make recommendations for treatment plans, including hearing aid selection and fitting
Administer and interpret diagnostic tests for patients with balance and vestibular disorders
Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients
Provide counseling and education to patients and their families about hearing loss and communication strategies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
Stay current with industry trends and developments in audiology through continuing education and professional development opportunities
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement programs to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
Adhere to all ethical and legal standards for audiology practice
Requirements
Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
Current state license to practice audiology
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC‑A) from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA)
Strong knowledge of diagnostic audiology, hearing aid selection and fitting, and counseling techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
