Job description
Bring your expertise as an Audiologist to a rewarding contract opportunity serving school-aged students. Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Previous experience in educational settings or with pediatric populations preferred
Knowledgeable in conducting comprehensive hearing assessments and fitting amplification devices
Excellent communication skills to interact with students, families, and staff
Organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing caseloads
Key Responsibilities: Evaluate students' hearing abilities using a variety of diagnostic tests
Interpret results and make recommendations for intervention or classroom modifications
Fit and monitor hearing assistive technology, such as hearing aids or FM systems
Develop and document Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals related to auditory needs
Provide aural rehabilitation and counseling to students, parents, and staff
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state policies
