Job description

Well-known ENT office in the Tampa area seeking a Clinical Audiologist to join our growing team. ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida is one of the largest private practice otolaryngology groups in the country. Our practice provides comprehensive general and subspecialty ENT medical and surgical care within the convenience of one medical group.

nWe are seeking a Clinical Audiologist to join our group that will bring a team-player attitude to partner with the ENT physician and an aptitude for excellent patient care.

nWe are currently seeking an Audiologist for a full-time, Monday - Friday position.

n nPosition Responsibilities:

nnAdminister diagnostic tests and make recommendations for best rehabilitative services

nComplete audiological and electrophysiological assessment (OAEs)

nFitting and dispensing of state-of-the-art digital hearing aids and/or other ALDs/accessories to assure a successful patient journey

nAural rehabilitation assessments and community education programs

nCreate the best journey for the patient through proper instruction and counseling

nOther services you may provide: Tinnitus and Hyperacusis management and treatment, Implantable Services (Cochlear Implant, Baha, Ponto, Esteem Envoy); Industrial Hearing Conservation Identification and Management; Vestibular Evaluation and Rehabilitation; Electrophysiological assessment (ABR, EcoG, OAEs, VEMP), Central Auditory Processing Disorders; Clinical Trials

n nCandidate Requirements:

nnEducation: Doctor of Audiology or Masters degree

nMust be eligible for FL state licensure

nProfessional Experience: seeking professionals with varying levels of experience (open to recent graduates)

nMust be able to problem solve and work independently when necessary

nStrong communication and computer skills are required

nA keen ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and team members is mandatory

n nBenefits:

nnMedical, Dental and Vision: Effective 1st of the month after 60 days of employment.

nCompany paid STD, LTD, Life: Effective 1st of the month after 1 year of full-time employment.

n401(K): Effective 1st of the month after 1 year of employment.

n6 Paid Holidays: Effective immediately.

nPTO: Time earned per pay period.

n nPhysical Demands: Coordination, manual, and physical dexterity sufficient to properly and adequately use various items of medical equipment and office equipment as required of the position or directed by the Manager. The position may involve sitting, standing, bending, and stooping. Incumbent must also be able to assist patients in transferring from wheelchair to an exam chair, when necessary. Responsibilities may also require the incumbent to travel between ENTAAF offices for support purposes. The incumbent must also be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
