What's the role?
nAudit / Assurance Associates support the audit team by assisting with the examination of client financial records to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and firm standards. This role is ideal for entry-level candidates or professionals with up to 1–2 years of public accounting experience who are looking to build a strong foundation in audit and grow their career within a public accounting firm. Responsibilities include:
nnnAssisting with audit engagements, including testing, documentation, and preparation of workpapers.
n
nnAnalyzing client financial records to identify potential accounting issues and escalating findings to senior team members.
n
nnLearning and applying audit methodologies, standards, and firm procedures.
n
nnWorking closely with Audit Seniors and Managers to complete engagements efficiently and accurately.
n
nnCommunicating with clients as directed and providing a professional, positive experience.
n
nnBuilding foundational knowledge of clients' businesses and industries.
n
n nWhat experience and skills do I need to be successful?
nnn0–2 years of audit or public accounting experience (internship experience welcomed).
n
nnBachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
n
nnCPA eligible or intent to pursue CPA preferred.
n
nnStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.
n
nnAbility to learn quickly and work both independently and as part of a team.
n
nnCandidates willing to work onsite preferred, but hybrid work may be considered based on experience and location.
