Job description
Audit interns will be responsible for utilizing educational knowledge and experience to perform numerous accounting related responsibilities such as:
nWhat You'll Do
nnShadow members of the accounting department as they perform their duties.
nAssist with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
nPrepare financial reports and other documents.
nHandle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
nLearn how to work as part of an accounting team to support our firm and clients
nAdditional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations
n nQualifications
nnPursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting (completion of corporate or individual taxation class is required)
nWorking towards eligibility to sit for CPA exam upon graduation (150 credits)
nAbility to think independently and make good decisions based on education and experience
nGood communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and staff
nAbility to prioritize work, follow through on requests, take initiative and meet deadlines
