Job description
Title: Audit Manager
CPA firm in Lincolnshire, IL/Chicago, IL is seeking an Audit Manager to join its growing Audit & Assurance practice. This leadership role offers direct access to firm partners, meaningful client relationships, staff development opportunities, and a clear path toward senior leadership within the firm.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Active CPA License required
5+ years of public accounting experience
5+ years of financial statement audit experience
2+ years of supervisory or management experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and auditing standards
Experience managing audit engagements from planning through completion
Strong client relationship management skills
Experience mentoring and developing staff
Private Equity experience preferred
Master's Degree preferred
Responsibilities
Lead and manage audit and assurance engagements
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
Review of audit workpapers and financial statements
Manage engagement budgets, staffing, and timelines
Mentor, coach, and develop staff and senior associates
Identify opportunities to provide additional value to clients
Ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards
Work closely with Partners on client service and practice growth initiatives
Compensation
$115,000 - $150,000 Base Salary
