About the Role
As an Audit Manager, you will lead multiple audit and assurance engagements while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. You’ll work closely with business owners and C-level executives to provide insights that extend beyond the financial statements, including operational improvements, KPI development, risk management, and strategic planning.
You will also play a key role in developing the firm’s team, strengthening client relationships, and identifying opportunities to expand advisory services.
What You’ll Do
Manage multiple audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
Build trusted relationships with business owners, executives, and key client stakeholders.
Provide strategic and operational insights beyond traditional audit services.
Identify opportunities to improve client processes, reporting, KPIs, and risk management.
Lead, mentor, and develop audit staff through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
Manage and strengthen existing client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional services.
Help drive process improvements, technology adoption, and greater efficiency across audit engagements.
What We’re Looking For
5–10 years of public accounting experience, with a strong focus on audit.
Experience working with non-profit organizations and small-to-mid-sized businesses (SMEs) preferred.
Active CPA certification required.
Proven ability to manage complex audit engagements and multiple client relationships.
Strong leadership experience, including supervising, mentoring, and developing team members.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with business owners and executive-level clients.
Strong business acumen with a proactive, consultative approach to client service.
Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and delivering exceptional client service.
