Audit Senior Associate | Asset & Wealth Management
We are seeking experienced Audit Senior Associates to support a leading Big 4 firm's Asset & Wealth Management practice during the upcoming audit busy season.
In this role, you will work with sophisticated investment management clients, including hedge funds, private equity funds, mutual funds, venture capital funds, and real estate investment vehicles. You'll take ownership of key audit areas, perform valuation testing, collaborate directly with clients, and help drive audit engagements from planning through execution.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
5+ years of external audit experience
Experience auditing Asset & Wealth Management or Investment Management clients
Experience with hedge funds, private equity funds, mutual funds, or similar investment vehicles
Hands-on valuation testing experience
Knowledge of ASC 820 Fair Value Measurement and U.S. GAAP
Experience with investment company accounting
Experience leading audit planning and execution
Strong client-facing communication skills
Experience leveraging audit technology, analytics, automation, or AI-enabled tools
Preferred Qualifications
Big 4 public accounting experience
CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification
Experience with large or complex investment management engagements
Exposure to tools such as Aura, CaseWare, Alteryx, DataSnipper, Power BI, or IDEA
Location: New York, NY, on-site
Contract: 3 months
Anticipated Start Date: January 4, 2027
