nAbout the Role

nWe are currently recruiting for a full-time position within our Audit & Assurance department. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals while gaining hands-on exposure to a variety of industries and engagement types including business, construction, governmental, school districts, nonprofit, and employee benefit plan clients.

nThis position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building client relationships, working collaboratively with a team, and continuing to grow their technical accounting and auditing knowledge in a fast-paced public accounting environment.

nStatus: Full-Time FLSA: Exempt

nBasic Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

nHeavy involvement in audit and attestation engagements

nAssist with planning and performing audit, review, and compilation engagements

nParticipate in special projects and client engagements as assigned

nWork directly with clients to gather information and provide support throughout engagements

nPrepare and organize workpapers and supporting documentation

nCollaborate with team members across multiple engagement types and industries

nQualifications

nBachelor’s Degree in Accounting

nCPA license or progress toward CPA certification preferred

nDesired Experience

n3–5 years of public accounting experience preferred

nMicrosoft Excel experience preferred

nDesired Skills

nExperience planning and performing audit, review, and compilation engagements preferred

nExposure to business, construction, governmental (including schools), nonprofit, and employee benefit plan clients preferred

nAbility to respond innovatively and constructively to client needs

nAbility to recognize networking and practice development opportunities

nAbility to effectively gain the confidence, respect, and cooperation of clients

nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills

nDesire to help develop the technical skills of fellow team members

nStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage deadlines effectively

nSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

nStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality client service
