nAs an Audit Staff, you will:
nAs an Audit Staff at Cherry Bekaert, you will work on a wide variety of audit engagements under the supervision of different accounting professionals.
nnnEngage and serve clients from various industries
n
nnCommunicate with project in-charges and clients
n
nnDevelop technical accounting skills while performing audits of financial statements
n
nnPrepare audit checklists and adjust journal entries
n
nnGain business writing experience while preparing financial statements alongside clients
n
nnPrepare and organize workpapers for client files
n
nnPerform other essential duties as needed
n
n n** ** What you bring to the role :
nnnBachelor's degree in accountingor related field. Masters preferred
n
nnCPA certified or the eligibility to work toward obtaining a CPA license
n
nnCumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but notrequired
n
nnProficiencywith computers and spreadsheet software programs
n
nnAbility to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel and occasional out-of-town travel
n
nnAbility to work moderate overtime throughout the year with heavier overtimerequiredduring certain business cycles
n

The salary range for this position is included below. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location. n$66,000 - $90,000
