Job Skills / RequirementsArmed Security Officers perform a variety of security-related duties depending on the post.Patrolling and monitoring exterior and community areas on-premises.Access control of entrances and exits and departure of employees and visitors.Monitoring surveillance cameras for any disruptions or unlawful activities.Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.Must be able to understand, explain, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, directives, and procedures per contract.Provide detailed reports on daily activities and incidents that may have occurred.Knowledgeable and able to effectively use magnetometer and X-ray machines.Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios clearly and concisely.Performing CPR or first aid when needed.Ensure credentials are maintained per contract requirements.Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Project Manager.Minimum Requirements:Two (2) years of experience security experience.Must possess and maintain a valid Security Guard Card.Strong relevant knowledge of the security industry.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must have a customer service-driven mindset.Ability to communicate effectively and present information to all levels of internal and external customers.BTI Security is committed to a policy of equal employment opportunity and does not unlawfully discriminate against employees or applicants for employment.
