Job description
Geotechnical DrillerAs a geotechnical driller, you will be drilling to conduct subsurface investigations to gather soil and rock samples for analysis in engineering and construction projects.At Terradyne Engineering we have been the experts in geotechnical and environmental engineering since 1995. We invest in your career!Job ResponsibilitiesMaintain drill and other equipmentSetting up drills at job sitesOperating drill as well as vehicleSite investigationsProducing logs, records, rig inspections, and vehicle inspectionsReporting any issues to the supervisor/managerAny other task requested by the supervisor/managerJob Skills & RequirementsLove and enjoy working outdoors.Great communication skills.1+ years of geotechnical drilling experienceAbility to carry up to 50 pounds.Always adhering to safety protocols and procedures.Must be a self-starter, reliable, and come with a good and humble attitudeAttention to detail.Possess time management and organizational skillsClean MVR, background, and drug screening.Valid driver's license.Construction experience (Preferred, not required)High school diploma or equivalent.Tasks assigned by the supervisor or managerBenefitsMedical insurance (United Healthcare)Dental & Vision (Guardian)Aflac (Additional insurance)401K Match (Principal)PTO accrual since (start accruing since your 1st workday)7 Paid Holidays (It varies per job site/client needs)Opportunities for professional development, training, and growth.Competitive pay commensurate with experience.We're an equal-opportunity employer.
