Auto Auction Support Worker
nPeopleReady of Winter Garden, FL is now hiring Auto Auction Support Workers for live auto auction sale days! Associates will be assigned to work as an Auto Auction Driver, Traffic Control Worker, or Vehicle Jumper based on the needs of the auction.
nThis is a fast-paced, outdoor work environment with vehicles constantly moving throughout the auction property. Shifts are typically 4-6 hours , and associates must be available to complete the entire scheduled shift. Additional hours may be available based on business needs.

nThe pay rate for this job is $15 - $15 / hour*
nWhat you'll be doing as an Auto Auction Support Worker:
nAuto Auction Driver
nnnSafely drive vehicles through designated auction lanes during live sales
n
nnMove, stage, line up, and park vehicles throughout the auction property
n
nnFollow designated driving routes and directions from auction staff
n
nnMaintain a safe distance between vehicles and follow all auction driving and safety procedures
n
nnEnter and exit multiple vehicles throughout the shift
n
n nTraffic Control
nnnHelp direct the safe flow and movement of vehicles throughout the auction property
n
nnAssist with keeping auction lanes and designated traffic areas organized
n
nnCommunicate with drivers and auction staff to help maintain a continuous flow of vehicles
n
nnFollow all traffic and safety procedures while working around moving vehicles
n
n nVehicle Jumper
nnnAssist with vehicles that will not start by safely jump-starting batteries using approved equipment
n
nnHelp identify inoperable vehicles and notify appropriate auction personnel
n
nnAssist with preparing vehicles for movement through the auction lanes
n
nnFollow all safety procedures when working around vehicles and battery equipment
n
n nAvailable shifts:
nShift Timings: All Available
nJob requirements:
nnnApplicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
n
nnValid driver's license
n
nnMust be comfortable working around moving vehicles in a busy auto auction environment
n
nnAble to stand and walk for extended periods
n
nnAble to frequently enter and exit vehicles if assigned as a driver
n
nnAble to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles, if assigned as a driver
n
nnMust follow all auction safety rules and instructions
n
nnMust be dependable and able to complete the entire 4-6 hour shift
n
nnPrevious auto auction, driving, traffic control, lot attendant, or vehicle-related experience is a plus
n
nnBackground check and drug test required
