Motor Works Auto in Big Lake, MN is looking to hire a full-time Auto Repair Shop General Manager to oversee our car shop and manage our team. Do you have strong automotive skills? This automotive management position earns asolid base payplus amonthly bonus which equates to about$75,000 - $100,000/year. A Day in the Life of an Auto Repair Shop General Manager
As an Auto Repair Shop General Manager, you maintain our operations, help customers, and oversee the team. You greet every customer who enters our facility with hospitality and the highest level of respect. Simply and clearly, you present the best solution for car repairs and handle any other questions or concerns they may have. You also consistently and effectively sell our services without jeopardizing honesty or integrity. Managing around 8 - 10 employees, you oversee the store's workflow in an effective manner. Your leadership inspires hard work, positive attitudes, an open space for communication, and great working relationships. You enjoy helping your team and seeing the business thrive!
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in automotive repair, preferably in fixed operations or service management
Experience with automotive repair estimation and repair order generation
Experience with key performance indicator (KPI) reporting (ticket averages, car counts, labor, and parts reporting)
Leadership skills
Do you have the ability to mentor and train others with patience and professionalism? Are you reliable and honest? Can you work well with others? Do you have excellent communication skills? Are you detail-oriented and organized? If yes, you might just be perfect for this automotive management position!
