LHH is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Automation & Controls Engineer to join a leading provider of automation solutions for the poultry manufacturing industry. You’ll be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining automated systems at client sites nationwide (70% travel). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and traveling frequently. The anticipated salary for this role is between $80,000-$90,000 a year.
Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain automated control systems at customer facilities.
Work with voltage and current sensors, transducers, and networking components.
Analyze and apply electrical diagrams to complete accurate installations.
Wire and configure low-voltage electrical panels.
Implement communication protocols for seamless system integration.
Maintain detailed documentation of all work performed and system configurations.
Collaborate with clients to customize solutions and provide training.
Qualifications
Experience reading electrical and control system diagrams.
Hands-on knowledge of sensors, transducers, and automation equipment.
Familiarity with networking and communication protocols.
Proficiency with wiring, testing, and diagnostic instruments.
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to travel up to 70%.
