Job description
Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day activities, goal setting, performance management, and development of the team
Quote/Design new automation
Project Manager for Automation build projects.
Is involved in all new Engineering Automation projects to determine and recommend all sensing and automation needs.
Interfaces with outside venders and automation suppliers to get quotes and manage outside purchases of automation equipment.
Research and purchase any new systems, equipment, hardware, software, components, etc.
Hands on programming, wiring, troubleshooting, building, integrating, etc.
Mentor team members and provide support for their career development goals
Requirements
Four-year college degree in Engineering required
At least 5 years of experience in automation; design experience required. Management experience preferred
Working knowledge of:
Solidworks
Mechanical systems
Networking
Hardware and software
PLC’s
Drives
Vision systems
Electrical and pneumatic systems
Robots
Stamping
Molding
Presses
Auxiliary equipment
Automation equipment

Test equipment
