Job description
Automation OperatorJob Store Staffing is seeking an experienced Automation Operator to join a manufacturing team on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated production equipment, making machine adjustments, monitoring product quality, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. If you have experience with CNC, automation, or manufacturing equipment and are looking to build your technical skills, this is a great opportunity!Operate automated and semi-automated production machinerySet up and operate equipment according to established procedures and production specificationsMonitor machines and adjust settings as needed to maintain quality and production standardsUse computer-controlled and manually controlled equipmentLearn and use precision measuring tools to verify product qualityMonitor production processes and identify potential issuesWork alongside experienced technicians and learn basic machine maintenance processesFollow all safety procedures and company guidelinesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaComplete required production documentation and computer data entryMeet production deadlines and quality standardsPerform other related duties as assignedHigh school diploma or GED preferredAt least 1 year of experience operating CNC, automated, or manufacturing equipment strongly preferredCNC programming experience is a plusStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsBasic computer skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsComfortable working in a medium- to fast-paced manufacturing environmentWillingness to learn new equipment and processesPhysical RequirementsAbility to bend, stoop, and squat occasionallyFrequently lift and/or move items up to 10 lbs.Occasionally lift and/or move items up to 25 lbs.Ability to reach with hands and armsAbility to stand and walk throughout the facility as neededAbility to use a computer, keyboard, and mouseAbility to sit for extended periods when required$20.50/HRMonday–Friday schedule3:30 PM–1:30 AM 2nd shiftOpportunity to develop automation and manufacturing skillsWork in a hands-on production environmentGreat opportunity for candidates with CNC or machine operating experience
