And you'll be part of a company that believes winning means helping you succeed at work and in life.Here, you'll win with:Support that keeps you wellMedical, dental, and life insuranceCompany-paid short- and long-term disabilityFSAs and dependent care optionsVision and legal benefitsGym discounts and wellness clinicsTuition reimbursement—for you and your dependentsOpportunities to growClear paths to promotion and internal mobilityTraining, coaching, and mentorshipDevelopment programs to support your goalsTime for what mattersPaid vacation and holidays in your first yearA culture that respects work-life balanceJob Description:Job Summary:The Automation Packer is responsible for cleaning, painting, inspecting, and packaging fabricated piece parts in accordance with the specifications and requirements outlined on each piece ticket as the parts are processed through and discharged from the automation line.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Pack and label all piece parts in accordance with requirements on piece ticketSelect the correct packing materials such as skids, paper, corner boards, license plateConduct a final inspection on each piece for dimensional and visual quality before packingUnderstands the correct pack sequence per job order on each packing line.Maintain or exceed expected output on pieces per hourFollow all safety and quality standardsMaintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety proceduresOther duties may be assigned to meet business needsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to demonstrate comprehension of positional work instructionsAbility to use a calibrated tape measure and identify standard and metric units based on ticket requirementsAble to operate nail/Staple guns correctlyAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentCapable of becoming forklift certifiedAble to work overtime including weekendsAbility to learn AUTOMATION Software and perform basic computer functionsAbility to effectively communicate within a teamAbility to collect and document all needed data at assigned workstation using the appropriate formsMinimum Requirements:Education:High School Graduate or GEDExperience:Minimum 3 months experience Basic PC knowledgePhysical Requirements:· Able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours· Ability to walk and move between workstations for extended periods throughout the shift· Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials, tooling, and parts up to 40-50 lbs on a regular basis· Sufficient hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate controls. Handle precision tools, and load/unload parts· Adequate vision-corrected or uncorrected- to read measurement tools and inspect parts (including close- up and depth perception)· Ability to tolerate working near running machinery, coolant systems, and moderate noise levels, with proper PPE· Ability to remain focused and attentive while performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced production environmentWe're looking for people who are ready to learn, ready to lead and ready to make a difference.
