Job description
Essential Duties
Review and become familiar with the project drawings and specifications, project contract requirements, and the overall project schedule.
Create estimates for project budget and bid numbers.
Develop timeline of labor and material/equipment deliveries and allocation for the project.
Manage multiple projects and/or multiple trade disciplines (mechanical, sheet metal, plumbing, electrical, insulation, etc.) as determined by the project(s).
Manage material, equipment costs, and labor allocations while maintaining quality and project schedule.
Manage changes in project scope and costs, and prepare change order estimates, change order requests, and track changes to final execution.
Prepare monthly client billings.
Education & Training
High school diploma or equivalent, required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, or related technical field preferred, but not required.
PMP certification, Certified Estimating Professional (CEP), or equivalent industry certifications are a plus.
Skills & Experience
5+ years of practical experience in industrial automation, robotics, manufacturing, controls, or related construction and integration projects.
3 years of supervisory experience
Working knowledge of:
Industrial automation systems, robotics, and automated production equipment.
PLCs, HMI/SCADA systems, industrial controls, and system integration principles.
Equipment installation, commissioning, startup, and operational readiness processes.
Construction sequencing, scheduling, and coordination within active industrial or manufacturing facilities.
Project estimating, budgeting, scope development, and change management.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software. Microsoft Office Project preferred.
Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Bluebeam, estimating software, or similar project tools preferred.
Valid driver's license required.
