Automotive Accounting SpecialistThe Automotive Accounting Specialist position with Mills Automotive Group is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and dynamic team. This role is suitable for an experienced professional who has a strong background in dealership accounting and is looking to take on a role that can grow into a leadership position!Responsibilities:Reconcile G/L account balances and schedulesDaily deposit reconciliationCash receipt postingCredit card batch processingService & warranty receivable postingCustomer A/R reconciliationPosting Wholesales and dealer tradesInventory additions and removalsDeal Flow log & Clean UpServe as backup for all accounting positions in the officeAssist with month-end dutiesEnsure policies and procedures are upheldEnsure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions related to the dealershipsCollaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulationsRequirements:Dealership accounting experience a plusCDK system experience a plusStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practicesProficiency in accounting software and MS ExcelExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBenefits:Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time off and holidaysOpportunity for career growth and advancement
