Auto Biller OpportunityKing O’Rourke Cadillac Buick GMC located on Route 347, Smithtown, NY is looking for an experienced Auto Biller.Part-time or full-time position available. We are a high volume store and offer top pay to the right candidate. Pay based on experience.We are seeking to hire candidates that have the following skills:Thorough and strong knowledge of DMV & VerifyKnowledge of Reynolds & Reynolds / Ignite is a plus but not mandatoryExcellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skillsPositive attitude with a high-energy personalityOrganization and follow-up skillsAutomotive Billing ExperienceBenefits:Health & Dental401K with matched dollarsPaid Vacation, Paid Time Off, Paid HolidaysCompany DiscountsQuarterly Bonuses AvailableResponsibilities will include but are not limited to:You will work with new software that allows you to complete your job duties and responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment.Backstopping F&I and vetting all dealsVerifying interest rates, rebates, residuals, and vin incentives.Process DMV within a regulated time frameLog information into VERIFYLog-deals being sent to the accounting departmentMaintain up-to-date police, plate, and in-transit books according to NYS regulationsEnsure deal compliance prior to releasing any DMV documents to the sales/finance departmentCreate an up-to-date DMV log which includes any DMV issues/concerns, missing documentsSubmit a check request for any DMV refunds to accounting with a copy of the registrationAssist the General Manager/Controller as requested with the DMV process and procedurePrepare paperwork for the titling of new, used, and wholesale transactionsEnsures retail transactions are processed in a timely mannerPrepares tax and title documentsPrepare and submit all legal transfer documents to the state department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)Provide additional administrative support as neededKeep current with applicable lawsContacts banks to obtain lien releasesApplies for duplicate titles when neededCheck all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc., before forwarding to the accountingPrepare and maintain trade-in vehicle jacketsFollow up on all payoffs to ensure a quick return of titles and lien releasesMaintain loaner and company vehicle titlePay: $25/hr.++ Based on experience.We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
