Job description
Automotive Detail ManagerThe Detail Manager is primarily responsible for coordination between the customer and Automotive Detail employees. They determine the type of service necessary, the time needed for completion and who will perform the work. They directly oversee the efforts of the wash and detailing departments at a specific location ensuring the highest levels of quality. The Detail Manager is also responsible for creating an organizational system, tracking all necessary product inventory and equipment needed to perform the required duties. They communicate regularly with their Territory Manager.Help maintain a safe and organized workspaceCommunicate with Service Advisors and Technicians to facilitate auto-placementCommunicate with Service Advisors regarding detail services, repairs, and estimates for time completionPerforms vehicle drop-off inspection, recommends maintenance & documents existing damagesIdentifies, manages, and orders all detailing department products & equipment. Ensures limited waste keeping expenses low.Facilitates and conducts all detailing department dutiesPerforms other duties as requestedLeads and monitors the performance of a team of 3-5 Automotive DetailersCreates and or monitors the bi-weekly scheduleDemonstrates extreme attention to detailAbility to analyze written and verbal instructionsAbility to write, present and respond to customers and staff members in a professional mannerAbility to lead, train and support detailing and shop personnelAbility to handle high-stress situationsCompetitive PayFlexible Working Hours as dealerships are open Monday-SundayCompensation: $750.00 to $1,200 per weekCareer path and opportunities for growthHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceCandidates must have a valid driving license and clean driving record
