Automotive / Diesel Mechanic B / C - Up to $30/hr Guaranteed + Bonus
Location: Covington, OH
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Optional Rotating 4-Day Work Week
Pay Rate: Up to $30/hour guaranteed base pay
Pay Type: Hourly + Productivity Bonus
Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly
Earning Potential: $80K+ with productivity bonuses and overtime
Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in Covington, OH. This position pays up to $30/hour in guaranteed base pay for 40 hours per week, plus productivity bonuses based on billed labor hours.
You'll get the security of hourly pay with the opportunity to earn more for your productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs on cars, SUVs, vans, and light trucks
Diagnose and repair gas-powered and light-duty diesel vehicles based on experience
Perform brake, suspension, steering, fluid service, and general repairs
Complete vehicle inspections and Digital Vehicle Inspections
Perform diagnostic and drivability work based on skill level
Use Autel and Snap-on diagnostic equipment
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of professional automotive repair experience
Strong general repair and maintenance skills
Diagnostic experience preferred for B-Level technicians
Light-duty diesel experience preferred
Own professional technician tools
Independent repair shop or dealership experience considered
Willing to continue learning and pursue ASE certifications
Compensation & Benefits
Your base pay is guaranteed for 40 hours each week. Productivity bonuses are added on top of it.
Up to $30/hour guaranteed base pay, depending on experience
Guaranteed 40 hours of base pay per week
Additional $5 for each billed labor hour up to 40 billed hours
Additional $7 for each billed labor hour over 40
$80K+ annual earning potential based on productivity and overtime
