Position Overview
As a Flow Inventory Associate, you'll play a critical role in maintaining CarMax's best-in-class vehicle inventory and customer experience. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and take pride in accuracy and organization. You'll handle vehicle receiving and shipping, lot maintenance, merchandising, and photo uploads, ensuring every car meets CarMax's quality standards. Role Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate inventory by following CarMax inventory processes.
* Receive and secure vehicles shipped to CarMax and prepare title packets for transfers.
* Perform lot maintenance and merchandising, ensuring display areas are clean and organized.
* Prep vehicles for customer returns and loaners, including washing and vacuuming.
* Execute photo station process for carmax.com listings.
* Drive vehicles on and off the lot for repairs, storage, and auction support.
* Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Required Qualifications
* Valid driver's license and ability to meet CarMax driving standards.
* High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.
* Ability to read, interpret, and accurately transcribe data for inventory records.
* Completion of Inventory Associate workstation certifications and assigned trainings.
* Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
* Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Ability to stand or walk for extended periods in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

The hourly rate for this position is: $17.58 - $24.51
Benefits:
Except as otherwise required by state law, CarMax Associates are entitled to the following paid sick, vacation, and holiday time.
Associates that are considered full-time hourly or commission/incentive eligible:
* To earn up to 48 hours of sick time per year accrued on a per pay period basis and between 80 hours and 200 hours per year of vacation time after a 90 day waiting period depending on years of continuous service with the Company.
* For 8 hours of pay for each of a total of 6 paid scheduled holidays per year plus 1 floating holiday. If such an Associate does work on a scheduled holiday due to business need, they are eligible for Holiday Premium Pay.
Associates considered full-time salaried are entitled to paid time away with no specified limit as needed for sick, vacation, bereavement, jury duty, holidays, floating holiday, etc. subject to manager approval.
