GQ Motorsports is a family-owned and operated independent dealership and service shop seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. We carry a diverse inventory of gasoline and diesel vehicles and need someone comfortable working on various makes and models.
nnThis is an hourly position-not flat rate , paying $25–$55 per hour based on experience and skill level . ASE certification is not required. We are looking for proven hands-on ability and someone who can help keep our inventory properly inspected, diagnosed, and repaired.
nnResponsibilities:
nnAccurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability problems
nPerform suspension, steering, brake, maintenance, and general mechanical repairs
nComplete major repairs, including engine removal and replacement
nInspect and test vehicles to identify necessary repairs and adjustments
nProvide accurate labor and repair-time estimates
nComplete quality repairs safely and efficiently
n nQualifications:
nnMinimum of six years of hands-on automotive repair experience
nStrong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills are required
nMust have your own professional tools and scan tool
nComfortable working on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles
nExperience working on both gasoline and diesel vehicles recommended but not required
nAble to work independently without constant supervision
nDependable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship
nReliable transportation
nValid driver’s license and clean driving record for vehicle road testing
n nnSchedule:
nnFull-time, five days per week
n10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
nRotating Saturdays
nClosed every Sunday
nClosed on major holidays and the day following major holidays
