n nAUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN / AUTO MECHANIC RESPONSIBILITIES
nnPerform automotive repair and maintenance on engines, brakes, suspension, and drivability systems
nDiagnose mechanical and electrical issues using automotive diagnostic equipment
nComplete repairs to manufacturer specifications
nPerform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
nHandle warranty repairs, recall repairs, and dealership service work
nMaintain high-quality standards as an automotive technician or service technician
n nAUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN / AUTO MECHANIC QUALIFICATIONS
nnExperience as an automotive technician, auto mechanic, service technician, or auto tech
nAll experience levels considered, including entry-level technicians and master technicians
nStrong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills
nPersonal tools required
nValid driver’s license
n nAUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN SKILLS (AUTO MECHANIC / SERVICE TECHNICIAN)
nAutomotive technician skills include automotive diagnostics, auto repair, and vehicle maintenance across gasoline and diesel engines, engine repair, engine performance, and tune-ups. Experience with automatic transmission, manual transmission, drivetrain and axle repair, suspension and steering systems, brake repair, electrical systems, and electronic diagnostics is required. Skilled in HVAC systems, vehicle troubleshooting, and advanced diagnostic scan tools.
nExperience performing automotive service technician duties in dealership service departments or independent repair shops, including warranty repair, recall repair, and vehicle inspections. ASE certification in engine repair, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, HVAC, and engine performance is strongly .
