Automotive Parts Technician

Location: York, PA
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Our team safely recovers, inventories, and distributes quality automotive parts that help keep vehicles on the road.
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Automotive Parts Technician to join our team in York, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for an automotive technician or mechanic who enjoys hands-on work and prefers working outdoors instead of being confined to a repair shop.
The ideal candidate will have automotive experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
Remove quality automotive parts from cars, trucks, and SUVs
Pull and inventory parts including:
Body panels
Suspension components
Steering components
Brake systems
Cooling system components
Interior parts
Electrical components
Other reusable automotive parts
Inspect parts for quality and resale condition
Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
Follow work orders and locate vehicles throughout the yard
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Meet daily productivity goals while maintaining quality standards
Note: This position does not involve removing engines, transmissions, or complete axle assemblies.
Requirements
Qualifications Automotive repair, mechanical, or automotive technician experience preferred
Ability to identify vehicle components and understand basic vehicle systems
Experience using hand and power tools
Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license preferred
Physical Requirements Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Pay & Benefits Competitive starting pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
Paid Time Off (PTO) after 60 days
