Staff Management | SMX has openings for Assembly Associates with our premier Tier 1 automotive supplier in the New Albany, IN Area! There are four shift options available! Shifts: All Shifts, 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift, 4th Shift. Employment Types: Full Time, Temp to Hire, Long Term. Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 / hour Duties: Assemble interior components and molding assemblies for automobiles, including dash boards, consoles, air bag assemblies and door trims. Job functions include injection molding, assembly, painting, and quality assurance. Position Requirements: Assembly associates work with and/or around moving mechanical parts. Noise level varies and the production environment is climate controlled. Must be able to stand, walk, move about for shift duration (8-12 hours). Manual dexterity, normal or corrected vision to read directions, be able to visually inspect parts, and to distinguish colors. All positions require ability to lift 40 lbs. Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old. Able to Lift 40 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED.
