With over 300 employees, we're proud to deliver innovative, customer-first solutions across every stage of the ownership lifecycle.Position OverviewAs an Automotive Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for auditing, inspecting, and documenting vehicle inventory to ensure accurate records and the protection of company assets. This role requires close coordination with the service, retail, and corporate teams, as well as timely updates to inventory systems.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive and inspect all incoming vehicles at the assigned locationPerform detailed check-ins, noting all safety issues and required repairsPhotograph vehicles and upload images to the computer systemUpdate vehicle status in the system upon arrival and throughout the reconditioning processCoordinate with the Reconditioning and Inspection Manager to prioritize vehicle workManage vehicle logistics to/from internal and external repair shopsDrive and test each vehicle (~15 minutes) to identify drivability issuesSupport accounting with inventory auditsCommunicate findings to managers and maintain accurate documentationPerform other duties as assigned by the Senior Inventory Manager or Service ManagerQualifications3–6 months of experience in automotive repair, lube technician work, or related fieldsStrong written communication and reporting skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft ExcelAbility to work independently and in a teamPrior dealership experience preferredRequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid Driver's License (Required)Ability to drive and inspect vehicles regularlyBackground check and eligibility to work in the U.S.Compensation & ScheduleHourly Rate: $15.00 – $16.00 per hourBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, Life InsuranceShort and Long-Term Disability401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off (PTO)Paid HolidaysPerksAccess to a fully equipped onsite gym at our corporate office in ArlingtonWhy Join MEI Group?At MEI Group, we believe in doing things the right way—with transparency, accountability, and respect.
