Our client, a leading innovator in the automotive industry, is seeking a Automotive Requirements Engineer to join their team. As a Automotive Requirements Engineer, you will be part of the Product Development Department supporting vehicle feature programs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Define, author, maintain, and govern vehicle feature requirements supporting current and future vehicle programs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Planning, Engineering, Systems Engineering, HMI, Software, Hardware, and Validation to translate customer needs into clear, testable requirements. Ensure requirements are aligned with corporate milestones, standards, and safety regulations. Facilitate requirement reviews, resolve gaps, and manage dependencies across global stakeholders. Maintain bidirectional traceability from customer needs through to validation requirements and manage requirement changes effectively. What's Needed?
Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems Engineering or an equivalent from an ABET accredited university. One to five years of automotive product development experience, including requirements definition and lifecycle management. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical content to non-technical audiences. Knowledge of automotive systems engineering, functional decomposition, and industry standards such as ISO 26262. Proficiency with MS Office suite and ability to gather and analyze data from various sources to support feature decisions. What's in it for me?
