Service AdvisorThe Service Advisor at Group 1 Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Rockwall serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring accurate vehicle diagnostics communication, and coordinating timely and efficient repairs. The Service Advisor plays a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction, retention, and driving service department revenue within a fast-paced automotive dealership environment.Responsibilities:Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing strong rapport and trustConsult with customers to understand vehicle concerns and document service needs accuratelyRecommend maintenance and repair services based on vehicle inspection results and manufacturer guidelinesProvide clear explanations of recommended services, timelines, and cost estimatesPrepare and manage repair orders in dealership systemsCoordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairsMonitor repair progress and proactively communicate updates to customersEnsure all work is completed to customer satisfaction before vehicle deliveryUpsell additional products and services when appropriateHandle customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and urgencyMaintain knowledge of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram service standards and warranty processesFollow all company policies, safety guidelines, and manufacturer proceduresQualifications:Automotive Service Advisor ExperienceCDK Experience PreferredAbility to Multitask a MustTeam Player is a NecessityPositive & Friendly AttitudeInterpersonal Communication SkillsBasic Computer SkillsStrong Desire to Provide an Exceptional Client ExperienceAbility to Achieve Targeted GoalsHigh School Diploma or EquivalentMust have a Valid Driver's LicenseEqual Opportunity EmployerWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status.
