Automotive Service AdvisorPoquet Auto is seeking a customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team in Golden Valley, Minnesota. The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while accurately identifying service needs, preparing estimates, and coordinating repairs. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and knowledgeable about automotive service and repair.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet customers promptly and professionally, both in person and by phoneListen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issuesRecommend necessary maintenance and repairs based on vehicle condition and manufacturer guidelinesPrepare and explain repair estimates, timelines, and costs clearly and transparentlyObtain customer authorization for repairs and additional servicesCoordinate workflow with technicians to ensure efficient and timely serviceProvide customers with regular updates on repair statusReview completed work with customers and explain invoices upon vehicle pickupMaintain accurate service records and customer informationPromote preventative maintenance services when appropriateAddress customer questions or concerns and resolve issues professionallyOther duties as assigned.Qualifications & SkillsPrevious experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or similar customer service role preferredStrong understanding of automotive systems and repair processesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environmentCustomer-focused mindset with strong sales and relationship-building skillsProficiency with shop management software and basic computer skillsValid driver's licenseHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredWork Schedule & EnvironmentFull-time scheduleFast-paced, team-oriented automotive service facilityCompensation & Benefits$65,000 annual salarySchedule: Tuesday - SaturdayFree health insurancePaid vacation/holidays401K with company matchEmployee discounts on vehicle service and repairsWhy Work at Poquet Auto?Poquet Auto is the #1 rated used car dealership in the Twin Cities, known for integrity, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer care.
