nPOSITION SUMMARY
nAs an Automotive Service Technician for Big O Tires, you will perform service and installation activities associated with store products and services in an accurate and timely manner.
nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
nProvide fast and friendly customer service
nPromote sales through explaining benefits of service and products to customers
nMaintain timely and professional communication with management, employees, vendors and customers
nKeep supervisor informed of any maintenance problems and/or any issues that need attention
nSafely operate customer vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions
nBe able to perform mechanical maintenance such as brakes, alignments, front end repair (i.e. ball joints, tie rod ends, struts/shocks), minor engine repair.
nMust have the basic tools to perform such duties.
nMaintain a clean environment, tools and equipment, using company guidelines
nKnow and adhere to company policies and procedures
nUtilize and perform all duties on the company checklists to meet consistent adherence to policies, procedures and expectations
nQUALIFICATIONS
nASE Certification recommended but not required
nReliable transportation to work
nAbility to learn new concepts and use technical materials
nAbility to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
nCapability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
nWillingness to work with hazardous materials and in outdoor weather conditions
nComplies with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) regulations
nAbility to move and lift up to 75 pounds
nAbility to meet company requirements including successful pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and criminal background check
