We are looking to add a BMW and/or Audi/VW automotive technician to our team!
nYou should have demonstrated experience as an auto technician with at least 5 years experience working on these specific vehicles. You will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles.
nAutomotive Technician Responsibilities:
nnPerform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles.
nIdentify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment.
nExplain automotive repairs/issues to provide great customer service.
nPlan repair procedures using charts, repair manuals and experience.
nTest the functionality of parts and systems.
nPerform basic service tasks such as inspection services, periodic maintenances and multi-point inspections.
nWillingness to learn with hands-on training.
nHelp keep repair shop clean and organized.
nMaintain a professional appearance.
n*Experience involving the application of performance modifications and performance parts installation is a plus!!
n nAutomotive Technician Requirements:
nn5 Years experience of working with BMW or Audi/VW vehicles. (required)
nDiagnostic skills! Ability to use the diagnostic equipment and tire service equipment.
nUnderstanding of vehicle specific automotive systems and chassis codes.
nMust have own tools.
nComputer skills including typing technician notes and using our shop management software.
nReliable transportation and punctuality.
nSelf motivation and works well with others.
nAutomotive and engine repair experience or automotive training required.
nHold a valid driver license.
nMust read, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.
nPerform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
nMay lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
nExperience with heavy equipment
nGood hand-eye coordination.
