Automotive Technician | $32K-$80K/year | Monday-Friday

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Pay Rate: $32,000-$80,000 per year (tiered flat-rate compensation structure with a 60-day guaranteed onboarding period and production-based bonus)

About Mark's Automotive
Mark's Automotive is seeking an Automotive Technician for its West Monroe and Monroe, Louisiana locations. This full-time position pays $32,000-$80,000 per year and follows a Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. schedule. The role offers hands-on training, mentorship, advancement opportunities, and a team-focused shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repairs on cars and light-duty trucks.
Diagnose automotive issues and determine reliable repair solutions.
Perform vehicle inspections to identify service and repair needs.
Use automotive tools, equipment, and systems to complete assigned work.
Apply problem-solving skills to automotive diagnostics and repairs.
Collaborate with other team members to support efficient shop workflow.
Qualifications
2-5 years of shop experience; automotive experience is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Automotive technical certifications are a plus.
Comfortable using automotive tools, equipment, and systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and time-management skills.
Willingness to learn new automotive tools and technologies.
