Job Description Automotive Technician A or B+ Level - $30-$55/Flagged Hour - Mon-Fri
\ NLocation: Grantville, PA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.M.-5:00 p.M.
Pay Rate: $30-$55 per flagged hour, based on technician level and experience, plus production bonuses
Pay Type: Flat rate
Pay Schedule: Weekly
Typical Flagged Hours: 50 per week
\ NWe are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in Grantville, PA for an all-makes-and-models independent repair shop. This opportunity is open to A-Level technicians with advanced diagnostic capabilities and strong B+ Level technicians who can handle substantial repairs independently. The shop offers a Monday-Friday schedule, a climate-controlled facility, modern diagnostic equipment, steady vehicle volume, and production incentives.
\ NKey Responsibilities
\ N Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns using professional diagnostic equipment
\ N Perform engine and transmission removal and replacement
\ N Diagnose CAN bus and vehicle communication network concerns
\ N Use oscilloscopes, scantools, and related diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues
\ N Complete repairs accurately and efficiently with a focus on quality and minimizing comebacks
\ N Maintain strong productivity in a flat-rate environment
\ N Service and repair primarily domestic and Asian vehicles, with limited European vehicle work
\ N Document inspections, repair findings, and recommendations in Tekmetric
\ N Qualifications
\ N Experience working in an independent automotive repair shop
\ N Pennsylvania state inspection license(s) required
\ N Advanced diagnostic capabilities for A-Level consideration
\ N Moderate diagnostic skills and the ability to complete substantial repairs independently for B+ Level consideration
\ N Experience with engine and transmission removal and replacement
\ N Experience diagnosing CAN bus concerns and using oscilloscopes and automotive scan tools
\ N ASE certifications preferred
\ N Compensation & Benefits
\ N A-Level Technician: $40-$55 per flagged hour, depending on experience
\ N B+ Level Technician: $30-$40 per flagged hour, depending on experience
\ N Typical production: 50 flagged hours per week
\ N Additional $2.00 per flagged hour at 50+ flagged hours
\ N Additional $5.00 per flagged hour at 60+ flagged hours
\ N Weekly pay
Shop covers 75% of medical insurance, including family coverage
\ N 40 hours of PTO after 90 days
\ N 80 hours of PTO after one year
\ N Six major paid holidaysafter 90 days
\ N Uniform shirts provided
\ N $0.50 pay increase for each ASE certification passed
\ N $1.00 pay increase for each ASE L1 or L2 certification passed
\ N Toolbox relocation reimbursement after 90 days

\ NWork Monday through Friday in a climate-controlled, 9-bay, 9-lift facility averaging approximately 60 vehicles per week. Technicians have access to Launch, Snap-on, and Autel diagnostic equipment, a Hunter alignment rack, and Tekmetric for shop management and digital vehicle inspections.
\ NTech Fix training is available, along with production incentives and ASE-related pay increases. The team also hosts events throughout the year, including a Christmas party, pumpkin carving, and a Fourth of July event.
