nThe Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Automotive Technician. The Automotive Technician Associate will spend up to 6 months working alongside Automotive Technicians to learn and gain experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles across several manufacturer lines until they have gained the necessary qualifications to become an Automotive Technician.
nThe successful candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, nights, and some holidays depending on business demand.
nThis position is located at our Service Center at 5074 E Anderson Ave Fresno, CA 93727.
nThe pay for this position starts at $25.50 / hour. After the first 2 required ASEs, there is the ability to increase pay by $1 / hour up to 4 total ASEs.

nResponsibilities
nWe are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:
nnnWork alongside an experienced auto technician as directed by supervisor or manager, to gain experience in the following areas:
n
nnEnsure that all mechanical repairs are completed according to the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines
n
nnComplete manufacturer required training and perform warranty and recall repairs according to the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines.
n
nnComplete ADA installs as required upon completion of training
n
nnMaintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.
n
nnComply with part and inventory tracking procedures
n
nnProvide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of all services
n
nnUtilize multiple manufacturers' websites, software and diagnostic tools
n
nnMay process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy backs
n
nnUpdate job knowledge by participating in company and manufacturer approved training or other industry related training
n
nnFollow proper procedures to comply with all health, safety and environmental standards
n
nnMaintain the work area in a safe, clean condition and comply with all uniform and equipment standards
n
nnPerform related duties as required.

nQualifications
nnnThe ability to operate a motor vehicle is an essential function of this position. Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license
n
nnTwo years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles.
n
nn1 current and valid ASE certification OR OEM training/certifications required.
n
nnHire with manufacturer training with agreement of obtaining 2 ASE certifications within 12 months of hire
n
nnDegree in Automotive Technology, completion of Automotive Technical College or Technical Vocational training preferred
n
nnUnderstanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures is a plus.
n
nnA minimum of basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Product is required
n
nnMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
n
nnMust be able to understand, read, write and speak English
n
nnMust be at least 18 years of age.
n
