With 15 new stores opening each year and a 100% success rate, that means endless opportunity for advancement and unmatched job security for you and your family! (In over 30 years of business we have never had a single store fail!) Make sure to apply quickly in order to maximise your chances of being considered for an interview Read the complete job description below. What the Role Is: We are looking for a tech-savvy, entry-level individual with a baseline knowledge of cars to join us as a Technician's Helper & Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) Specialist. Instead of being thrown straight into complex flat-rate repairs, you will be the ultimate right-hand helper to our senior technicians. You will manage the flow of vehicles and handle our digital inspections. By taking the time-consuming inspection process off our master techs' plates, you allow them to focus on repairs, while you get an upfront, hands-on seat to learn exactly how professional diagnostics and repairs are done. Key Responsibilities: Shop Flow: Safely and correctly drive, rack, and lift customer vehicles on our shop lifts. Digital Inspections (DVI): Use a shop tablet to perform thorough vehicle inspections—taking clear photos of parts, assessing tire wear, checking fluid levels, and documenting overall vehicle health. Tech Support: Assist our experienced technicians with setups, tool management, and heavy lifting as needed. Shop Pride: Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. What We Are Looking For: Basic Automotive Knowledge: You know your way around an engine bay, understand basic fluid locations, and know how to safely turn a wrench. Experience: Experience working at a quick-lube chain, tire center, or enrollment in a local trade program (TCAT, Moore Tech, etc.) is highly preferred. Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using an iPad or tablet to take clear photos and navigate inspection software. Safety Minded: Absolute commitment to safety, especially when driving and lifting customer vehicles. Reliability: A positive attitude, a desire to learn, and the reliability to show up on time every Monday through Friday. Requirements: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required. Why This Job Beats the Corporate Quick-Lube Line: Stop Sweating, Stop Freezing: Get out of the open pit. Work in our air-conditioned shop bays. Get Your Life Back: No late nights, no Saturdays, and no Sundays. Real Career Progression: Chain stores keep you trapped doing 40 oil changes a day. We will actually teach you true diagnostics, electrical, and advanced mechanical repair. You will be paired with a dedicated mentor whose goal is to help you graduate into a high-earning automotive technician. Dealer Technicians, you won't have to worry about warranty time here About Our Lakeland Shop: We are a family-owned, 20-year established automotive repair shop with a stellar reputation in the community. We operate a clean, modern, 9-bay facility. We believe in taking care of our team, which is why we invest in a climate-controlled shop, top-tier equipment, and a strict Monday-through-Friday schedule so our team can enjoy their lives and families. About CBA: Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first. All 300+ CBA locations offer a modern facility equipped with manufacture-level diagnostic equipment and the latest factory scan tools. CBA shops also offer their technicians a consistent workload, free training, full-time live technician support and access to our private Technician Assistance Center. Thank you for viewing this opportunity! This job posting is for an opening at a Christian Brothers Automotive location that is independently owned and operated by a local licensed franchisee. Your application and any information included with it will be submitted to the franchisee for further handling. Christian Brothers Automotive Corporation ("CBAC") is a separate business entity. No CBAC employee will be involved in any decisions regarding your employment application. If you are hired for this posit
